Nigerian Parents Release Names of 105 Abducted School Girls

The parents of one hundred and five (105) Nigerian schoolgirls in Yobe State have released the names of their abducted children to the school authority.

Nearly a week ago, gunmen attacked the town of Dapchi in Yobe state, Nigeria. They arrived on Monday evening, demanding that residents direct them toward the school where they abducted some of the girls.

As the abducted schoolgirls of Government Girls Technical College, Dapchi, Yobe State, remain in the captivity of their kidnappers, their parents at the weekend submitted to the school authorities the identities of 105 schoolgirls that remained unaccounted-for after Monday’s raid on the school by gunmen suspected to be members of Boko Haram

Names and local government areas of those kidnapped, as well as their parent’s telephone numbers were given. They also said that the number of abductees was expected to rise because some people had yet to come forward with reports of their missing wards.

The governor of Yobe state was advised by the parents to stop listening to “fake data” given to him by security operatives. They also have created a group to collate names of the missing girls.

According to the Forum created by the parents of the missing girls, the 105 missing girls are as follows:-
